Mod dress

I was ready for a bit of a change from all the pleats and ruffles I've been doing, so I made a little mod dress.

Little pleats galore in the back, and two little buttons. I think I like the back the best!

Traveling outfit with jacket

Here's the whole outfit with the jacket on. The jacket closes with a hook and eye between the buttons. The collar also looks good turned up.

The traveling dress

Here is the traveling dress finally finished. This is all one piece, believe it or not, and has three snap closures down the back.

The traveling dress in progress. This is taking a little longer than I expected but I'm pleased with how it looks now.

This will have buttons down the front and the jacket will go over it.

Here's the back: there is a single snap to which you can attach either the lace thing or the satin train. So Lottie will have options!

The champagne dress in progress

The champagne dress is in two parts like the peacock dress. I was trying to make it in one piece, but the satin is too bulky to gather two layers together at the waist.

The champagne dress, coming together. The satin is not very drapey but still looks nice and fluid.

I will add add some lace to puff out the bustle back, like on the peacock dress.
